Beginning of the already traditional event “Days of the First Croatian Beer” was officially announced at the press conference of Osječka Pivovara held on 31 August 2016.

The Beer Days are going to be held from September 7 to September 17 on the left bank of the Drava River, in a tent, by the catacombs.

Opening ceremony of the Days of the First Croatian Beer is going to be held on Ante Starčević Square, on September 7, at 12 noon.

The list of entertainers and schedule of their performances was announced at the press conference:

7 September – Jole

8 September – Marijan Ban and Diktatori

9 September – Slavonske Lole

10 September – Baruni

11 September – Gazde

15 September – Željko Bebek

16 September – Mejaši

17 September – Slavonia Band

Performers announced on social media so far include Marijan Ban and Diktatori, Slavonske Lole, Gazde, Željko Bebek and Mejaši. The names of other performers have been revealed today: Baruni, Slavonia Band and Jole – the person whose concert is opening the Beer Days festival.

Tamburitza band “Lege” and tamburitza band “Brace” will be opening for all the performers in the evenings.

Daily ticket is priced at HRK 20.00. The price includes one drink.

Humanitarian campaign “1 litre – 1 kuna” will be held during the “Days of the First Croatian Beer”. A donation for an ultrasound device will be made for every beer sold.

“Beer garden” will also be set up, as an outside terrace next to the tent where you will be able to enjoy top-quality beer and music programs in a more intimate atmosphere.

The program held under a tent on the left bank of the Drava River is going to be hosted by a well-known Croatian stand-up comedian and entertainer Marko Petar Orešković.

Osječka Pivovara, partnered with the City of Osijek Tourist Board and Panturist, enables the citizens to attend the concerts free of charge (one free drink included) for every return ticket bought for one of the bus-lines (the list of which can be found on the Panturist web-page and on our Facebook page).

“This year and this fundraising campaign inspired us to invite other catering establishments to truly live in harmony with the first Croatian Beer during those 10 days, in the manner that celebrates the tradition of the city on the Drava River”, said Saša Uranjek, director of the City of Osijek Tourist Board.

Visitors will be able to enjoy the food prepared by the Slavonian gourmet chefs who will prepare the most delicious beer specialities like sausages or pork knuckles with sauerkraut. Beer games are going to be organized for all the visitors. During the manifestation, citizens will be able to try out non-pasteurized and non-filtered Osječko Beer in several cafes and restaurants around the city.
