For several decades now, thousands of national costumes taken out of the chests of forgotten stories, thousands of participants from Slavonia and Baranja, Croatia, Europe, and from all over the world bring songs, dances and customs of their own regions to Đakovo. Since 1967, here, in the heart of Slavonia, horsemen and proud Šokci in the horse-drawn marriage carts have been coming together for the sake of reviving the memories from the days of old.
